I'm Still Here is a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix. The film follows the Oscar-nominee as he announces his retirement from a successful film career in the fall of 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a hip hop musician. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads.

Somebody finally made a compilation of all of the ridiculous ways that people mess up ironing, eating, dressing, training their pets and so on in commercials. Buying some sort of fantastic new device that will help you crack eggs, comb your hair or button your clothes will help relieve these issues, but this focuses on the frustrations that require this life-saver.

The requirements were that it had to be interesting, not "overbuilt" or too technology-heavy, and easy to follow. The machine also had to be built on a shoestring budget, synchronize with beats and lyrics in the music and end on time over a 3.5 minute song, play a part of the song, and be filmed in one shot. To make things more challenging still, the space chosen was divided into two floors and the machine would use both.

If "Back to the Future" was filmed today, Marty would travel back in time...all the way back to 1980. Here's a beautiful snap shot of what the 80's might have been like. I present Andy Warhol's "Fifteen Minutes" which ran on cable tv (including early MTV).

A five part video series describing how Porsche automobiles were made during the 1960's. It would be great to see an updated version for how a Porsche is made today.

Christian youth groups finally have an alternative to normal, aka "front," hugs. As we all know, face to face embraces run the horrific risk of a clothed crotch graze. The Christian Side-Hug (or the CSH, as the kids call it) rids us of sin, as the only below the belt contact will be some good old-fashioned hip on hip action.

Newsweek puts together a video of all the major events for the past decade. Pretty interesting to see it all compressed into such a short duration.
